As a Kingdom driven ministry, The Warrior's Cry not only seeks to build the Body of Christ in unity, but also to exhort our brothers and sisters in Christ. Episode 1: Pastor Nick Honerkamp

Nick is currently the Senior Pastor of New Covenant Church in Clyde, NC. With Nick's energy, prayerful leadership and contagious humor, the church is quickly growing into a regional resource center with a world impact. Nick has a passion to see the local church impact it's community and is very involved in many efforts to bring that change in his community. He is also a writer and blogger. He and his beautiful wife, Tina, have two sons, Caleb and Hayden. 

Episode 2: Pastor Steve mccranie

Steve is currently the pastor of Church Without Walls in Gastonia, NC. Steve got his start in Christian Radio, and he has also authored the book, "Love Jesus, Hate Church" that he distributes for free on his website. Steve has had many experiences in the church that I felt valuable to the discussion of unity in the Body of Christ. He has been married for more than 35 years, he has 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Episode 3: The Dirty Christian- Drew Koehler


Drew Koehler is a 30-ish guy who surrendered his life to Jesus at 21 years old while serving in the U.S. Navy. In his youth he was exposed to a variety of drugs and drinking and upon his arrest was given a second chance to serve his country.

Having reached what he considers “rock bottom” he encountered Jesus Christ through reading the Left Behind book series. Coming to the conclusion that he was not on the same side of God he did enough searching to bring him to a knowledge of Jesus Christ.

He is the father of 4 children, 3 sons and a daughter and has been married to his wife Rachel since 2001.


Episode 5: pastor john pelonero

Pastor John Pelonero has been at New Covenant Church in Gastonia, NC since 1985. He is married to Janice Pelonero and has three daughters Angela, Janice, and Victoria. He has been spiritual father to a great many sons, I am included in that number. 

His testimony includes being saved in the seventies with two joints in his sock while in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He first introduced me to the idea of unity in the Church with his series of conversations in the beginning about the Church of Gastonia. 


David is a Missional Starter and an Artistic Creative. He is an observer. He is passionate about assembling the many moving parts of life and art to depict unique global stories. 

After moving to China at age eighteen, David’s perspective broadened dramatically. He mastered the Mandarin language as he traveled among ethnic tribes in the southwestern region of the country. 

His experiences in the many cultures of Southeast Asia have helped transform his gift for art and creativity. 

Everyone has a story to tell, but not everyone has a voice. David has a heart to be an articulate voice, composing stories of justice and social concern, especially among the poor. - See more at:

EPISODE 7: Dr. Michael Brown

Michael L. Brown is the founder and president of FIRE School of Ministry in Concord, North Carolina, Director of the Coalition of Conscience, and host of the daily, nationally, syndicated talk radio show, the Line of Fire, as well as the host of the apologetics TV show, “Answering Your Toughest Questions,” which airs on the NRB TV network. He became a believer in Jesus 1971 as a sixteen year-old, heroin-shooting, LSD-using Jewish rock drummer. Since then, he has preached throughout America and around the world, bringing a message of repentance, revival, reformation, and cultural revolution.

He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary, and Regent University School of Divinity, and he has contributed numerous articles to scholarly publications, including the Oxford Dictionary of Jewish Religion and the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament.

Dr. Brown is the author of 27 books, including, Our Hands Are Stained with Blood: The Tragic Story of the “Church” and the Jewish People, which has been translated into more than twelve languages, the highly-acclaimed five-volume series, Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus, a commentary on Jeremiah (part of the revised edition of the Expositor’s Bible Commentary), and several books on revival and Jesus revolution. His newest books are Can You Be Gay and Christian: Responding With LOVE & TRUTH to Questions About HOMOSEXUALITY (2014), The Fire that Never Sleeps: Keys for Sustaining Personal Revival (2015), and Outlasting the Gay Revolution: Where Homosexual Activism is Really Going and How to Turn the Tide (2015).

Dr. Brown is a national and international speaker on themes of spiritual renewal and cultural reformation, and he has debated Jewish rabbis, agnostic professors, and gay activists on radio, TV, and college campuses. He is widely considered to be the world’s foremost Messianic Jewish apologist.

He and his wife Nancy, who is also a Jewish believer in Jesus, have been married since 1976. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Episode 8: Dr. Frank Turek

Dr. Frank Turek is a dynamic speaker and award-winning author or coauthor of four books: Stealing from God:  Why Atheists Need God to make their CaseI Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an AtheistCorrect, Not Politically Correct and Legislating Morality. As the President of, Frank presents powerful and entertaining evidence for Christianity at churches, high schools and at secular college campuses that often begin hostile to his message. He has also debated several prominent atheists including Christopher Hitchens and David Silverman, president of American Atheists.

Frank hosts an hour-long TV program each week called I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist that is broadcast Wednesday nights on DirecTV Channel 378 (the NRB Network). His radio program called CrossExamined with Frank Turek airs on 186 stations every Saturday morning at 10 a.m. eastern and is available continuously on the freeCrossExamined App.

Frank is a widely featured guest in the media as a leading apologetics expert and cultural commentator. He has appeared on hundreds of radio programs and many top TV programs including: The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, Faith Under Fire,and Politically Incorrect. He also writes a column for and several other sites.

A former aviator in the US Navy, Frank has a master’s degree from the George Washington University and a doctorate fromSouthern Evangelical Seminary.  He and his wife, Stephanie, are blessed with three grown sons.
